Your trip in short
You land in Ahmedabad and dive straight into the state's heritage. Your first two days are packed with history and scale, from the peaceful Gandhi Ashram and Akshardham's light show to the massive Statue of Unity, where you get access to the viewing gallery and the evening laser show. Next morning you head west to Dwarka for two nights, stopping at Jamnagar's Lakhota Lake along the way. You will visit the sacred Dwarkadhish Temple, cross over to Bet Dwarka, and see the Nageshwar Jyotirling. From there, you drive past Porbandar to Somnath for a night, before heading into the forests of Sasan Gir to spot Asiatic lions. Your journey wraps up with visits to Virpur and the vintage cars in Gondal before you head back to Ahmedabad. We have sorted 3-star hotel stays with daily breakfast, plus dinner during your wild night in Gir. A private sedan is ready for all your road travel, so you can just sit back and watch the changing Gujarati landscape.
