Your trip in short
You land in Srinagar and head straight to your hotel, crossing the Jhelum river over Abdullah bridge. Your first afternoon is dedicated to Srinagar's classic sights, from the ancient Shankaracharya Temple to the beautiful Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Over the next two days, you will head out on day excursions to Pahalgam and Gulmarg. On the way to Pahalgam, you will stop at the saffron fields and the eleven-hundred-year-old Avantipur ruins. In Gulmarg, you can choose to take the famous Gondola cable car ride up to Khilanmarg for views of the Apharwat peak. You return to Srinagar each evening, wrapping up with a free day for shopping and a relaxing one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake. You will spend three nights in a comfortable 3★ resort and your final night in a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. Daily breakfast is included, and a private sedan with an experienced driver is arranged for all your transfers and sightseeing. Everything is set up so you can travel without any stress.
