On the full-moon night of 24 November 2026, all 84 ghats of Kashi are lined with oil lamps — steps, terraces, temple spires, everything. From a boat mid-river, the whole city becomes a single sheet of flame doubled in the water. Most people see the photos. Very few stand in the middle of it. This 2N/3D Varanasi tour package is built around that one night, with the temples, the aarti and the silk lanes woven around it.
The itinerary
Land in Varanasi and settle into your hotel. Then straight into the heart of it — VIP darshan at Kashi Vishwanath, Kaal Bhairav and Sankat Mochan Hanuman temples, the New Vishwanath temple at BHU, and as dusk falls, the fire and bells of the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
A gentle morning — finish any pending darshans or visit the Sarved Mahamandir, then rest. By 3 PM you're at the boat point. As the full moon rises, every ghat lights up at once and you watch it all from the river: the Grand Illumination Dev Deepawali boat ride.
Breakfast and check-out, then dedicated time in the weaving lanes for authentic Banarasi silk and crafts — the kind you can't find outside this city. Transfer to the airport or railway station with the glow still on you.
